to be or not to be. Or, who the fuck cares. Or whatever. As much as I like to read the responses from any question of the day forum, I generally don't care to participate. Unless of course someone sticks a microphone in my face and a bunch of lights from a movie camera and pops a crazy question at me...like, what's your favorite color ...into my brain's aura & I will respond somewhat spontaneously and half assedly...the word purple. Why purple? Well ahhhh, when I was in high school I had to read this book the color purple by this black woman...and I can't for the life of me remember her name...I think it was Willa Matthews...or maybe, it was Geneva Brooks...irregardless, ...where was I at....oh yeah, anyway, after I got done reading that book, I started to wear the color purple a lot. Funny thing about that color though, it began to change my life. People started to notice me. They would say things like...nice blouse...and I would reply...no, it's a shirt. And they would say...nice skirt, and I would say...no, it's a kilt. And they would say, nice underwear, and I would say, no, it's my balls...I have gotten laid in so long, they turned purple. Now, if you don't mind, ask me another question. And if you laugh at this you sick fucker you, I hope you choke on the hot dog you are eating, and your face turns purple. Why are you such an ass? I'm glad you asked. Why is your thumbnail purple? I was hanging a picture of my great uncle Henry when I missed the nail and hit my thumb instead. Did you say fuck? Fuck yes...it hurt like a sonofabitch. Good, we have a lot in common. Thank you for your response. By the way, did you know that there's no such word as irregardless? Yes he said, pulling her closer to him and yes she said, do you have a condom (good question) and yes he said (a fucking liar) and yes, yes, yes. This is so cliche...but I'm smiling...yes. Is it new for you?

Well, at least she didn't drop you on your head and make it turn purple. You seem to be just fine - as always.
I love the colour purple - not outside, but inside my head. It first appeared to me during an acupuncture treatment. But now I can use mind control(?) to make it appear and use it as a relaxation/meditation technique. I have recommended it to people who have trouble falling asleep.
I don't like purple clothes, but I love purple flowers in the garden - lots of varieties of lavender, dark purple petunias. I had a purple toe nail a few months ago, when I dropped a can of creamed corn on my big toe. Ouuuuuch!!!

Purple stuff usually tastes good you know black currants,and grapes,and blackberries and wine. I think I associate the color of purple with delicious.
I've seen many things but I have yet to see a purple ball unless you count the one in the yard that was forgotten today and for some reason looks sad but reminds me of Willy Wonka Candy.
I decided to read only half your blog today. I really liked Mimi's comment about that she didn't drop you on your head, at least. Oh yeah, I skipped to the end. And did you know I stopped for ice cream on the way home tonight at 9:30 p.m. which I don't usually do, but I've been in a funk so I decided to just get fatter and did you know that there's two kinds of cherry ice creams? One is purplish and one is pinkish, and I like the pinkish kind better, but I'll bet you like other flavors better than cherry. Ok, there could be a lot of 'cherry' jokes but I'm still in my funk. I suppose it's a choice, or lack of creativity. Whatever. Ok, this feels better: Have a sweet evening Maze and all the Maze Family. Sweet dreams and safe rest.
I must be boring as hell…I love vanilla ice cream. Cherry….do they still make that?

I find myself lost inside your recent blog entries….I have no idea how I got there, where I'm going, or how to get back out again. It has been many, many years since I've smoked a joint but I remember what it felt like and that is how your blogs feel to me. Where in the world does all this stuff come from???? Hi Maze, I'm in a better mood now, and I clicked in to say something else that I wanted to say. What was it? I can't remember. Oh well. Hi. U rock. Sure, they still make cherry ice cream. When you go to the supermarket, do you ever just stand there are read all the flavors? Mike and I do, almost every week. We know them all, and we know when they come out with new ones. We negotiate about when we will allow ourselves to agree to purchase and consume one, because we know they're not that good for us in general, and Mike has diabetes in particular. Whenever I purchase ice cream, there is a side of guilt.
Is that the definition of killjoy…one who goes out and buys Mike some ice cream.
We try not to overthink it.
